The Red Lion is situated in the village of Northop (Llaneurgain) mid way between Mold and Flint, at junction 33 of the A55. The Red Lion stands directly opposite the beautiful Church of St Eurgain and St Peter
The Red Lion was originally an inn with a coach house, used by the Chester to Holyhead mail coach. At the turn of the 19th century there would have been nighly clatter in the village as the horses' hooves and post horn sounded.
Today the village is a quint, countryside haven where strangers quickly become friends.
All food at the Red Lion is from local sources. It is delivered fresh daily and is cooked only to order.
We take as much care over the way we make our drinks as we do our food. We have a wide selection of beers, wines and of course cocktails.
The front of the pub is our bar area - relax, socialise, gather. Muddy boots and wet paws are welcome in front of our roaring fire!
Then you'll love The Red Lion. Great food made from the best ingredients.
Enjoy a three-course meal or light lunch. We serve our popular carvery every Sunday
We have a huge function room that can accommodation over 100 guests in style.
A huge vaulted ceiling adds drama and character to the function room. Menus can be designed to suit your taste and budget.
Smaller parties are invited to enjoy a large table in the pub or restaurant.Buffet Menu and Booking Form
